GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN POLICE LEADERSHIP

Welcome to the Graduate Certificate in Police Leadership. Graduates from this course will demonstrate GLI’s Graduate Attributes. They will embody integrity, professional knowledge and social skills, making a positive contribution to society in the discipline of police leadership.

This course draws on the expertise of GLI faculty in police leadership and introduces students to a broad range of technical and theoretical concepts. Graduates will be equipped with writing and research skills to prepare them for further study and will be able to demonstrate an ability to apply a body of knowledge related to police leadership in a range of contexts. Graduates will also have developed skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication at a postgraduate level.

Graduates of the Graduate Certificate in Police Leadership may find employment in a range of security and policing organisations, as well as other professional and educational contexts that require skills in leadership, research and critical thinking. This course also allows flexibility for students who may wish to start with a short postgraduate course before committing to a Masters program or for students who need to exit the Masters program earlier than intended, due to unforeseen personal or professional reasons.

To qualify for award of Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security Leadership a candidate shall accrue an aggregate of at least 40 credit points, including satisfactory completion of the core units noted below.
